Minister of Local Development Receives Damietta Governor at Ministry Headquarters
The meeting included a review of several files and assignments based on the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, following his meeting with the governors and their deputies after taking the constitutional oath last week.
Minister Manal Awad emphasized that the upcoming period will witness daily follow-ups with the governors and their deputies to monitor the developments of service files and to solve the problems affecting citizens on a daily basis, aiming to improve the quality of services provided in accordance with the political leadership's directives.
Dr. Manal Awad also stressed the importance of monitoring the executive status of all ongoing national projects in Damietta Governorate, which will achieve a qualitative leap in the lives of the governorate's residents, particularly through the "Decent Life" presidential initiative, road projects, slaughterhouses, and solid municipal waste projects. She also highlighted the importance of completing the construction of the new General Diwan building for the governorate.
For his part, Dr. Ayman El Shahaby expressed his commitment to continue the path of construction and development witnessed by the governorate, and to complete the achievements made during the previous period, contributing to meeting the aspirations and hopes of Damietta's citizens. He pledged to exert maximum efforts to serve the interests of citizens in all sectors, support the projects underway in Damietta, and continuously engage with citizens to solve their problems.
