Opening of Information Systems and Digital Transformation Center

Pursuant to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to implement the "Egypt the Digital 2022" project, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, and Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development, Mohamed Al-Qarqawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs in the United Arab Emirates, accompanied by Major General Ashraf Attiya, Governor of Aswan, opened the Center for Information Systems and Digital Transformation in the building The Governorate's General Diwan, which coincided with the opening of 5 other centers in cities through video and teleconsorship technology, in the presence of engineer Ghada Labib, deputy minister of communications and technology Information for the institutional development of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, as well as Dr. Ghada Abu Zaid, Deputy Governor, and the ministers heard an explanation from Brigadier Ahmed Dench, Director General of the center, and Walid Al-Balbushi, Director of the Facilities Network Information Center, on the role of the center where the Information Systems and Digital Transformation Center was established at a cost of 21 million pounds to perform 82 multiple services for citizens, as well as the center is linked to 11 sophisticated technology centers in all cities and centers to separate service providers from their recipients for performing quickly and reducing administrative corruption.

 Aswan Governor pointed out that the technology centers contribute to the realization of the state concept and its policy of automating and accessing government services to citizens as quickly and as quickly as possible in fulfilment of Egypt's Vision 2030, especially as they are linked to the executive branches of Egypt. The digital transformation building, also the technology centers are supported with the latest computers and technology nodes, as well as internal and external networks and elements linking the various departments, departments and bodies. He pointed out that the information systems and digital transformation center is made up of 3 floors where the floor is allocated The first floor of the Facilities Network Information Center to provide services to the public. Consideration was given to the establishment of RUMP and a special corridor for the people of interest, while the second floor was allocated to the departments of infrastructure, systems and applications, as well as housing the data security room, while the third floor was designated as the headquarters for the Department of Statistics and Electronic Publishing.

Ashraf Attiya added that the main center has been supported by the Faber line to connect it to the technology centers and the number of 6 servers, as well as the operation of alternative devices to secure and operate the electric current continuously without interruption. Furthermore, the mechanism of working within the center has been supported by new applications, namely the certification of building violations and the Ain State and Interactive Training Platform, and Governorate Advertising Management.
