In accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the government activates all mechanisms of communication with citizens in the governorates, listening to their problems and demands, and quickly responding to them in order to achieve satisfaction of citizens with all the services provided to them.


Minister of Local Development Major General Mahmoud Shaarawy launched a new initiative under the title of "Your voice is heard" under the patronage of Dr. Mustafa Madbouli, the Prime Minister. The minister stressed that serving citizens in all governorates is the top priority of the government and the ministry during the current period.
Major General Mahmoud Shaarawi pointed out that the initiative is based on two main axes, the first of which is entitled "Local Administration Responsive to the Citizen." The objective of this initiative is to make the citizen an active participant in the system of fighting corruption, neglect, waste of resources, Pointing out that this axis also fulfills the citizen's right to submit proposals through the management of an integrated platform to communicate with citizens.


Regarding the second theme of the initiative, which is titled "Local administration moving and working for the citizen," Maj. Gen. Mahmoud Shaarawy said that he focuses on tackling problems, resolving complaints and responding to queries from citizens through the integrated platform for communication with citizens. At the local levels in the Ministry and the governorates, through the allocation of an executive team selected in each governorate, to serve as a permanent operations room at all local levels, through which to deal with complaints received to him and follow up and communicate with the owners to inform them including M in their complaint.
Major General Mahmoud Shaarawy stressed that the "Voice Your Voice" initiative gives utmost importance to the main problems and issues of concern to citizens, including corruption and bribery, building violations, encroachments on agricultural land, facilities and state property, occupations and waste of various kinds and suggestions and new ideas.


The Minister of Local Development added that more than one means will be available to receive complaints from citizens, including the "Watts Ab", which receives the messages and complaints and citizen participation supported by pictures, e-mail and the official page of the initiative on the social networking site "Facebook" and hotline, Allocation of the "Watts AB" number: (01150606783).

The Minister of Local Development stressed that in order to enhance transparency, monthly reports will be published on the complaints received, their classifications, types, position and what has been done on each local level, from the governorate to the village.
Major General Shaarawy pointed out that working teams were formed in the governorates under the chairmanship of the secretary general of the provinces to respond quickly to the complaints received from citizens and respond to them.
