An amount of 32 billion pounds was spent to pave and raise the efficiency of local roads and construct bridges on road intersections and dangerous railway crossings in order to preserve the lives of citizens, avoid accidents, solve traffic jams, ease and speed citizens’ access to their workplaces and homes, and ease and speed the transportation of agricultural crops and goods from places of production to distribution places.
