Presidential Initiative "Hayat Karima"

The President of the Republic launched the “Decent Life” initiative at the beginning of 2019, and called for the government and civil society organizations to unite to provide a decent life for the regions and groups most in need. In the first phase, about 1.9 million citizens benefit from the initiative.
276 villages with poverty rates exceeding 70% were selected in 11 governorates, and an amount of 1.2 billion pounds was spent to start implementing the villages of the first phase, in which the poverty rate exceeds 70%, and they are 143 villages in 11 governorates, including the following:

109 road paving projects.
122 electrical and lighting projects.
28 school projects.
45 health units.
37 sanitation projects.
79 drinking water project.
87 miscellaneous projects.
