The Minister of Local Development meets the Executive Director of NTA
Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development received Dr. Rasha Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Academy for Training, at the Ministry's headquarters to follow up on joint cooperation files
Initially, Dr. Rasha Raghib congratulated Major General Hisham Amna on his assumption of the responsibility of the Ministry of Local Development and expressed her best wishes him success in servicing the country and citizens.
A review of the executive position of the cooperation files between the Ministry and the academy had been discussed within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the two sides, headed by the efforts of the National Academy of Training to develop and rehabilitate Saqqara Training Center of Local Development , where a proposal was prepared for a new organizational structure for the center that includes the development of information and technological infrastructure within the framework of the efforts of the state in the field of digital transformation , that meets the aspirations of the Ministry of Local Development during the current period and its roles in implementing the presidential directives, the mandates of the Prime Minister and major national projects , as well as The role of local administration in the new republic and the proposal to design the visual identity of the Saqqara Training Centre.
During the meeting, the latest developments in the training programmes implemented by the National Academy for Training Workers in the governorates were discussed. The training of public secretaries and general assistant secretaries was completed during the past period, and preparations are under way to train the media and training departments in the governorates and the heads of centres, cities and districts in the coming months, in addition to performing the necessary tests for applicants to occupy the leadership positions in the localities, as well as training programmes for them before assuming responsibility on the ground.
Amna, praised the great efforts made by the National Academy to train and improve the competence of local staff at all levels of leadership in the governorates and the Ministry in order to improve the delivery of services to citizens and improve their performance and the preaching work in the localities Citizens, headed by the presidential initiative "Hayat Kareema" and some other national projects and programs, as well as other local work files on governorate land, especially problem solving, overcoming crises, financial, administrative and legal matters, and contracts.
The Minister of Local Development announced the completion of the tests for the "Nawat Al Tagheir" programme and the selection of 200 young people working in the Ministry and the governorates to be qualified and trained in leadership pursuant to the directives of the political leadership in support of young people from the localities.
Amna also praised the role of the academy in implementing a training program for professional government officials in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to build the capacity of direct clients with the citizen, which has already been completed in more than 20 governorates. The program will be completed during the month of June to train about 11,000 employees.
