Amna arrives in South Korea to participate in the World Conference of the World Cities
A joint memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of localities signed by The Minister of Local Development and the Minister of Internal Security and Safety of Korea
From October 10 to 14 , Amna participates in the work of the seventh session of the World Conference of the World Cities and Governments Organization, which will be held in Daejeon, South Korea

Amna noted that he will present and review the efforts of the Egyptian state in implementing the presidential initiative" Hayat Kareema "as a model of best practices Globally recognized to improve the lives of 60 million Egyptian citizens in rural villages and change their lives for the better, which includes a large number of areas of the sustainable development process.
Another session on climate change and achieving climate justice,is to be attended to review the efforts of the Egyptian state in this regard, especially with the city of Sharm El-Sheikh hosting the COP27 Climate Conference early November.
Major General Hisham Amna added that he would also participate in the high-level round table to be held on the margins of the conference on "Transforming our relationship with nature and our ecosystems... The Future of the Planet ", during which he will present Egypt's goals by hosting the upcoming climate conference in Sharm el-Sheikh and the efforts made for solidarity in order to shoulder common responsibilities to confront the phenomenon of climate change and the importance of the international community helping African countries meet these challenges related to the climate issue.
The Minister of Local Development said that his visit to South Korea will include holding a bilateral talks session with Mr. Lee Sangmin, Minister of Internal Security and Safety of Korea - on the issue of local development in South Korea - and it is scheduled to be signed on the sidelines of the talks a memorandum of understanding between Egypt and South Korea for joint cooperation in the fields of local development and related fields, including the qualification of local cadres, capacity-building, training, exchange of experiences and information in the field of local development and benefit from the "Samuel Unding" Foundation concerned with the development The Korean countryside, which is one of the models of global rural development, in a way that contributes to achieving the maximum benefit in the exchange of experiences with the "Dignified Life" initiative, as well as preparing a comprehensive training plan for Egyptian local cadres in the field of municipal solid waste.
