PM follows the executive position of Haya Kareema

We are working to implement the state strategy for raising the economic and social standards of the most needy families in poor villages in order to improve the quality of life of their citizens and provide them with decent jobs
Project implementation rates in the target villages were 70%, despite of  the negative impact of the Corona crisis that the country encountered.
Providing more than 280,000 jobs per day through village infrastructure projects and 28,000 permanent jobs through soft loans and transfer training programmes with investments of over 320 million pounds.
Local development holds 371 community meetings with 9500 citizens from target villages to monitor needs and to order the priorities
3.7 billion pound investment estimates for the proposed plan for the second phase of the "Haya Kareema" initiative as well as 1.1 billion pound for social solidarity interventions
2.7 million citizens take the advantages of 1138 projects in the proposed plan for the second phase .
Dr. Mostafa Madpoly, prime minister of the council of ministers, held  video conference meeting to follow up the executive position of the presidential initiative   “Haya Kareema", participation was given by Dr. Tariq Shawqi, minister of education and technical education, Dr. Hala Sa 'id, minister of planning and economic development, Dr. Mohammed Muayti, minister of finance, major general Mahmoud Sharawi, minister of local development , Dr. Hala Zayed, minister of health and population , Niveen Al Kappaj,minister of social solidarity , Niveen Gameh, minister of trade and industry and engineer Mamdouh  Raslan , the chairman of the board of directors of the drinking water and sanitation holding company.
The prime minister began the meeting, confirming that the government is moving forward to intensify work at the current stage to implement the state strategy for improving the economic and social standard of the neediest families in poor villages; In an effort to improve the quality of life and provide decent jobs for citizens, the President of the republic, Abdul Fattah el-sisi, launched a national initiative to unite the efforts of the state with the private sector and civil society in the fight against poverty and to provide citizens with a decent life.
During the meeting, the minister of planning and economic development reviewed the operational position for the implementation of the first phase of this presidential initiative, with regard to areas overseen by the ministries of planning, trade and industry and manpower, which included vocational training courses for young people and providing soft loans from local development fund  and the enterprise apparatus , as well as loans from companies and financiers. She also presented the operational position for the areas overseen by the ministry of social solidarity in this phase on the "decent housing" initiative, as well as welfare Health and social welfare.
For his part, the minister of local development presented some proposals that could be implemented in the second phase of the "Haya kareema" initiative, including targeting the 136 villages remaining from the 270 previously agreed villages, and a further 5 villages in Matrouh governorate that President Abdel Fattah el-sisi had commissioned to include, together with additional funding next year for the ministry of local development for the first and second phases  to expand the basic services that can be provided to citizens in the most needy villages, and to increase the funding allocated Ministry of social solidarity to cover the cost of the ministry's interventions to serve 579,000 families.
General Mahmoud Sharawi noted that investment estimates for the proposed plan for the second phase of the "Haya Kareema " initiative amounted to approximately 3740.6 million pounds, as well as about 1.1 billion pounds  for social solidarity interventions, and a total of 1138 projects, benefiting approximately 2.7 million citizens.
In his presentation, major general Mahmoud Sharawi highlighted the most important projects implemented during the first phase, with a total allocation of 3 billion pounds in the financial year 2019-2020, in the areas of education, particularly school construction, local administration, sanitation projects, drinking water and health units . He also gave an account of the small loans made to 28,000 citizens, as well as the position of the additional financing projects. 
The minister of local development also reviewed the operational position of the social solidarity projects in relation to the "decent housing" initiative, which includes the replacement, renovation and upgrading of homes, roofing, drinking water and sanitation connections in the target villages, and outlined work on health and social care interventions and proposed projects to be implemented over the next period, noting projects to be completed by 30 June and others due to be completed by 30 September.
In this regard, general Mahmoud Sharawi provided some figures that were significant for the achievement of the "Haya Kareema" initiative. The implementation rates of the projects in the targeted villages exceeded 70% despite the negative impact of the Corona crisis on the country. More than 280,000 jobs were created daily through infrastructure projects in villages, 28,000 permanent jobs were created through soft loans, and transfer training programmes were provided with a total investment of over 320 million pounds .It is noteworthy that in just four months the rate of additional investment allocation was 100%, and a cash and development support package was provided in excess of 14 million pounds to approximately 10,000 citizens in 101 of the most needy villages In coordination with the world food programme (WFP), the minister reviewed several examples of projects implemented in some provinces.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the prime minister stressed that continuous monitoring of the actual needs of citizens was being carried out in these target villages in coordination with development partners. The minister of local development confirmed that citizens' proposals and needs and target districts at the level of 270 villages that had been previously agreed, in addition to 5 villages, had already been monitored. The ministry of local development also held 371 community meetings in which about 9500 citizens from the target villages participated to monitor needs and order the priorities  .
