Development and development of 10 villages of the most needy villages in the governorates of Assiut, Sohag and Qena

A protocol was signed between the Ministry of Local Development, the Egyptian Support Fund, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology with a total amount of LE 275 million for the development of 10 villages from the most needy villages in Assiut, Sohag and Qena governorates.

The Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities and the Ministry of Communications supported the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, Urban Communities and the Ministry of Communications. Egypt's support fund contributed 93.5 million pounds, 20 million pounds for drinking water, 10 million pounds for electricity works, 38.5 million pounds for paving and beautification works, 10 million pounds. The Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities contributed 175.5 million pounds to the sanitation projects in these villages

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology contributed 6 million pounds to build and develop post offices in these villages

The Ministry also coordinated with the governorates and monitored the availability of funding for them and overcome the obstacles to the implementation of the work contained in this Protocol

The projects of drinking water, electricity, schools, youth centers and post offices included in the said protocol have been implemented, and the implementation of sanitation projects is underway. The implementation rate is 85%
